Everything worth knowing before sending photos through.
For most small plaster repairs, yes. Send a few clear photos, your suburb and a short description of the damage, and a rough estimate can usually come back without a site visit needed first. Larger or hidden damage may still need a quick on-site look.
A wide shot of the room or wall, a close-up of the damage, and something for scale (a coin, hand, or door visible in shot). For water damage, photos of any visible source area help. Phone photos are fine. Clarity matters more than quality.
It depends on how localised the damage is. Isolated stains, a single hole or one cracked join are usually a patch repair. Widespread sagging, multiple cracks following old joins, or plasterboard that's no longer sound usually needs a partial re-sheet. The recommendation comes back honestly with the rough estimate, not as an automatic upsell.
Yes. Water damaged plaster is one of the most common jobs. Sagging sheets, brown stains and soft plasterboard after a leak. The leak source needs to be confirmed fixed first, then the affected section is cut out, re-sheeted and set so the repair lasts. See water damage plaster repairs for more detail.
Done properly, no. The damaged area is squared off, backed, taped with paper tape and set in coats so the patch sits flush with the surrounding plaster. Once it's painted, a tidy patch repair disappears. Surface filler over a hole, on the other hand, almost always shows up later.
Toowoomba Plaster is a focused plaster repair enquiry site operated by KGW Builds. Same licensed operator, same quality of work, just narrower in scope. The plaster repair enquiries on this site are handled by Kevin from KGW Builds. For general carpentry and broader project work, see kgwbuilds.com.

This isn't an emergency call-out service. Bookings are usually a few weeks out, and same-day or rushed work isn't typically a good fit. For non-urgent plaster repairs where you want the work done properly the first time, send photos through and a rough estimate will come back.
